George Callaghan

Mykonos, Greek Fishing Boats by George Callaghan

The little windmills on the horizon and the whitewashed buildings contrast well with the stripey brightly-coloured boats in the sea.  Again I find myself drawn to images from the land of my forebears.  The sunlight makes a big difference to the way colours are perceived.  Also there is the physchological influence of the sunlight on your mood.  You can’t help feel uplifted with scenery so vibrant.
