  1. I have just picked up on your blog – I am a new student with OCA Textiles 1, I think you must be my nearest fellow student, I live in Bath, I have found your blog really interesting & useful as I set about Project 1.

  2. Hi Katharine,

it was lovely to meet a fellow journeywoman at the OCA event in Brum last week. I still haven’t absorbed Lost in Lace. Every time I think about it or look at the photos, I’m overwhelmed by all the imagery, the light and shade, the reflections, the textures… a really wonderful exhibition.

Having a learning log in the shape of a blog is really interesting. I think it’s a great way to approach it. I love that you’re posting your work as you progress. It all looks inspired, imaginative and confident. I really enjoyed this part of the course. I’m now working on developing my final piece. I haven’t quite pinned it down yet, but hope to soon.

I am now an official follower. Looking forward to seeing how it all develops for you

    best wishes,
    Fiona

  3. I think we are at the same stage of the course, I wondered if you were keen to meet up sometime – I could not make the sessions the Sarah B organised in Exeter, I am in Bath,

  4. Hi, I am in Melbourne, Australia, and am completing a Diploma of Textile Art this semester. I somehow found your blog and it fits perfectly with a subject we are doing at present on fabric manipulation… very clear and inspirational. Thank you
